The Civil Human Rights Front organized the 3rd protest against the extradition bill, with 1.03 million Hong Kongers taking to the streets, marking the beginning of the Anti-Extradition Movement. Despite this, the government announced the scheduled 2nd reading debate for 6.12. In the early hours, some protesters attempted to occupy the Legislative Council building, met with police dispersal.
