JOIN US FOR A COLOURFUL 3-DAY CELEBRATION: HONGKONGER FULL MOON FESTIVAL @ STOCKPORT

Mid-Autumn Festival, or simply Moon Festival, is one of the most important festivals for Hongkongers. It is a traditional event full of custom, rituals and fun and a time for friends and families to get together in reunion. For the first time, Hongkongers are going to celebrate the festival and share their unique culture with the local community in Stockport in a 3-day colourful event.
Date: September 15-17, 2023 (Friday - Sunday)
Time: 9am - 5:30pm
Venue: Stockport Merseyway Shopping Centre, 54 Great Underbank, Stockport SK1 1PD
Cost: Free Entry
There will be a lot of entertainment and there are surely things for everyone. For culture lovers, there are exhibition of traditional handmade lanterns, music entertainment, and Hongkonger creative handicraft maker’s market. For food lovers, there are Hong Kong street food stalls where they can sample a taste of Hong Kong. For children, they can come to the children corner where they can try out their creativity and draw a lantern of their own and learn about the history of the Festival. For social media influencers, a photo with our BIG MOON of 2-meter diameter will definitely be a smash on Instagram and Facebook! Do come and join us.
