Birmingham HongKongers 昨日於伯明翰市中心舉行《抗議廿三條立法人鏈集會》，約有150人參與支持。當中不少參與者扶老攜幼，有專程揸個幾鐘車過來參與活動的，亦有食肆老闆提早收工/收舖過來支持！是次活動亦引起了一些本地人的興趣，想了解香港的情況，甚至加入人鏈。
今次活動事前事後都係落雨，但唯獨是活動過程中天公造美，讓活動得以順利完成。Birmingham HongKongers 在此感謝所有參與活動嘅義工及每位熱血嘅香港人 - 感謝每位主動向本地人講解廿三條事件的義工/參加者；
感謝每位響應呼籲借出口罩的；
感謝每位捐款支持細葉榕人道支援基金 Bonham Tree Aid 的；
亦感謝那10幾位堅持唔戴口罩、要繼續為喺香港”留下來的人”繼續發聲的 同路人!

Oppose Article 23: HongKongers will never give up
Birmingham HongKongers held a "Human Chain Rally to Oppose Article 23 Legislation in Hong Kong" in Birmingham City Centre yesterday, with about 150 people participating from all walks of life. Some traveled several hours to participate in the rally, some restaurant owners closed their shops early to support! The event also aroused the interest of some locals who wanted to know more about the situation in Hong Kong and even joined the human chain.
It rained before and after this event, but not during the event so that the event was successfully completed. Birmingham HongKongers would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in the event and every passionate Hongkonger! Thank you to every volunteer/participant who took the initiative to explain the Article 23 incident to the local community; thank you for responding to the appeal of offering spare masks; thank you for supporting Bonham Aid; and also thank those who insisted on not covering their faces to support those who remain in Hong Kong.
It is our honor to be with you all. May glory be to a free Hong Kong.
