香港專業網絡(HKPN)、Students for Hong Kong ( S4HK) 與港學者聯盟(HKCAN)共同合作,推出「HKDC獎學金計劃2022」。

HKDC、香港専業網絡(HKPN)、與港學者聯盟 (HKCAN)組成的遴選委員會挑選的得獎人,將會獲得$3000(美元)。委員會將從以下各類別挑選一名得獎人:
- 博士生
- 碩士生
- 大學本科生或社區學院學生

申請人須為香港永久居民或/及英國BN(〇)護照持有者並正在美國具備認可性的社區學院或大學就讀或已獲取錄)。

網上面試日期:2022年12月3-11日
獎項公布日期:2022年12月12-18日

申請人需要提交一份書面報告,提出一個可行的活動、運動或倡議工作,以推動香港對自由和民主的倡導。該項目可以在你的大學校園、社區、或以網上形式進行。獲獎者將會與HKDC合作,共同推動或舉辦該項目。

遴選委員會根據申請人對香港人社區的抱負,遠見及貢獻,和領導能力進行遴選。得獎者亦將獲HKDC實習生及研究生計劃優先考慮錄取。

注:得獎者先會獲得70%的獎學金,剩餘的30%將在活動執行後提供。舉辦活動的費用將另行提供和安排。

The Hong Kong Professional Network (HKPN), Students for Hong Kong (S4HK), and Hong Kong Collaborative Academic Network (HKCAN) are pleased to announce the Hong Kong Democracy Council (HKDC) Scholarship 2022.

Each recipient will receive a $3,000 (USD) scholarship upon selection jointly by representatives from HKDC, HKCAN, and HKPN. There will be one recipient for each of the following categories:
a) PhD student; $3000 USD
b) Master's student; $3000 USD
c) Undergraduate/ Community College student; $3000 USD

Applicants should be 1) Hong Kong permanent residents or BN(O) holders; and 2) currently enrolled or have been accepted to an accredited U.S. college or university.

Important Dates
• Application deadline: November 21, 2022
• Online interview: December 3, 2022 - December 11, 2022
• Award presentation: December 12, 2022 - December 18, 2022 

Applicants should submit a written proposal for an activity, campaign, or initiative that can advance Hong Kong’s advocacy for freedom and democracy. The initiative can take place either on your college campus, in your community, or virtually. Upon receiving the HKDC scholarship, recipients are expected to deliver the proposed initiative in collaboration with HKDC.

Recipients of the HKDC Scholarship will be selected based on their commitment and contribution to the Hong Konger community and their leadership skills. Recipients will also receive priority consideration for HKDC’s internship and fellowship programs.

Note: 70% of the scholarship amount will be provided upon successful application. The remaining 30% will be provided after the execution of the event. The expenses for organizing the event will be provided and arranged separately.
