We are Hongkongers scattered around the world due to the anti-extradition movement, and we are calling on the international community to pay attention to the situation of political prisoners in Hong Kong. We demand that the Hong Kong government immediately cease using the law as an excuse to suppress the people of Hong Kong. According to the Basic Law, Hongkongers should enjoy fundamental human rights and freedoms such as freedom of speech, association, assembly, procession, and demonstration.
In recent years, Hong Kong has faced severe political oppression and human rights violations. Since the 2019 anti-extradition movement, the Hong Kong government has utilized judicial processes and legal means to persecute and suppress dissidents, including elected legislators, pro-democracy activists, and student leaders.
Since June 30, 2020, the Hong Kong government has further prosecuted 47 pro-democracy figures under the imposed "National Security Law." These 47 individuals were merely exercising their freedom of speech, as guaranteed by Hong Kong's Basic Law, to express dissatisfaction with government policies and seek reform. However, they have been accused of conspiring to subvert state power and have been detained for over three years without trial, facing severe penalties, potentially including life imprisonment.
We believe these charges are purely political persecution aimed at eradicating the voices of freedom and democracy in Hong Kong society. This political repression not only violates the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and international human rights conventions but also infringes on everyone's fundamental human rights and universal values.
We earnestly appeal to the international community to pay attention to the plight of Hong Kong's political prisoners and to exert pressure on the Hong Kong government to immediately cease the persecution of political prisoners. We also call on governments and international organizations worldwide to take active measures, including diplomatic means, to urge the Hong Kong government to restore the rule of law in Hong Kong and protect the freedoms and rights of Hongkongers.
Here, we firmly support the Hong Kong 47 and all political prisoners and call on global citizens to stand together to defend freedom, democracy, and human rights. We believe that only through international attention and pressure can Hong Kong's political prisoners receive fair and just treatment, and Hong Kong's freedom and democracy be safeguarded.

我們是因香港反送中運動，而離散全球各地的香港人，齊聲呼籲國際社會關注香港政治犯的情況，並要求香港政府立刻停止以法律為藉口打壓香港人。根據基本法，香港人應享有言論、結社、集會、遊行、示威等基本人權與自由。
近年，香港面臨嚴重的政治壓迫和人權被侵犯。自從2019年反送中運動以來，香港政府利用司法程序、法律手段，迫害和打壓持不同政見人士，包括民選立法會議員、民主派人士及學生領袖。
2020年6月30日之後，香港政府更以強加於香港的「國家安全法」，對47名民主派人士提出了嚴厲的檢控。這47人只是在行使根據香港「基本法」賦予的言論自由，表達對政府政策的不滿和尋求改革。然而，他們卻被指控串謀顛覆國家政權罪名，未經審判已經被關押超過三年，可能面臨嚴重的刑罰，甚至終身監禁。
我們認為，這些指控完全是政治迫害，旨在消滅香港社會對自由和民主的呼聲。這種政治打壓不僅違反香港特區基本法和國際人權公約，並且侵犯了每個人的基本人權、普世價值。
我們懇請國際社會關注香港政治犯的處境，並向香港政府施加壓力，要求立即停止對政治犯的迫害。我們亦呼籲各國政府和國際組織採取積極行動，包括外交途徑，促使香港政府恢復香港人原有的法治，保護香港人的自由和權益。
