The High Court orders confiscation of Spark Alliance's 70 million

The High Court ordered the confiscation of 70 million from Spark Alliance, an organisation that helped raise funds for activists arrested in the anti-ELAB movement. The police stated that since two involved parties escaped, they applied for a court order for the condiscation, which the judge approved because it was in line with the law.

Spark Alliance was formed in 2016 after the Mongkok riot. During the movement in 2019, they raised funds to support arrested activists' legal and daily life needs. The police arrested 4 people from this organsiation on 19 Dec 2019, accusing them of money laundering and froze around 70 million.
