Have you ever encountered these issues?
Is your child being bullied at school, or are you experiencing discrimination from your boss or colleagues at work? Is it considered discrimination if you're not allowed to speak Cantonese at work and are required to speak only English? How should you handle discrimination against yourself, family, friends, or colleagues? Can you access free Cantonese-speaking support in the UK?
As a newcomer to the UK, you might not be aware that anti-discrimination laws here are stricter than in Hong Kong. What exactly is a hate crime? What about hate incidents? How can you avoid legal trouble when interacting with British people? Alex from On Your Side will be there to explain everything.
