🕯悼念燭光 Candlelight Vigil
In response to the Student4HK initiative, HKAAB is hosting a vigil at UC Berkeley to honor those who have sacrificed their lives in the Hong Kong 2019 protests. We shall take the time to commemorate the lost, remember their stories and carry on their spirits.
Nov 18, 2022, 6:30 pm PTOutside Hearst Field AnnexAfter the vigil, you’re welcome to stay and engage with other participants or you can attend the documentary screening of 《理大圍城INSIDE THE RED BRICK WALL》at 7 pm, and engage in a follow-up conversation with guests at 8:30 pm (RSVP). Please find more details about the screening and guest speakers in the RSVP form or the attached flyer.
As for fellow Hongkongers and allies who have watched the movie before or are unable to participate in person, please visit the following linktree made by Student4HK (linktr.ee/Students4HK). You will find names of individuals who passed away in the protests, as well as a separate list of individuals who were charged, convicted, and arrested.
Vigil designs are also available on the linktree website. We encourage online participants to take pictures of your own candlelight and tag us on social media or send them to us via social media or email them to HKAAB [[email protected]] or Student4HK [[email protected]] to contribute our online photo compilation.
