We consistently advocate and support a direct and genuine election for democracy from day one.
Hong Kong Shadow Parliament (HKSP) is a raw idea for people to think out of box for democracy movement, esp. that time people were hoping highly to LegCo election while NSL is imposed.
We are so glad to see many more people to follow up with the idea and advocate similar things. Therefore, 'Hong Kong Parliament' (HKP) is a spontaneous development from the raw concept of HKSP, rather than competitor. HKSP will be archived and HKP will be the next phase of it.
We focus more on democracy is an idea which could create creativity, it should not be limited its imagination on one name of individual and specific group. From HKSP to HKP is one of the examples.
我們由始至終都積極認同及支持大眾能直接參與投票的選舉。對「香港議會」籌委會的成立，持開放態度且樂見嘗試。
「香港影子議會」是一個初始的概念，旨在拋磚引玉，促進更多人能跳出框架為民主運動作出突破，尤其是當刻的社會民情仍特別需要為民主的前途保有盼望。
對於「香港議會」籌委會的成立，我們彼此並非相互競爭，我們「拋磚引玉」的歷史任務已完結，更樂見有民主同道自發地嘗試類似的倡議，讓「香港議會」走入下一階段。
我們認為「民主」的理念重於容許「創意」，而不吝於特定個別的人士或團體；由「影子議會」到「香港議會」即係一例。
