I am utterly annoyed by CPA UK's decision to invite undemocratically elected parliamentarians from Communist Hong Kong.

It is understandable that the invitation is a tradition. We used to have one pro-democracy and one pro-CCP parliamentarians representing the former colony. However, after the enactment of National Security Law. All pro-democracy MPs are now either in prison or in exile, and none of these who truly represent the people were invited this year.

The now fully CCP controlled Hong Kong legislature has just announced two pro-CCP representatives, namely Dominic Lee Tsz-king Carmen Kan Wai-mun, coming to, "conquer" as they said, your event.

As a British Hongkonger, who had to flee my home to the UK. I am utterly annoyed and is hoping CPA UK to retract the invitation.

I am utterly annoyed about CPA UK's decision of inviting 2 so-called legislative council’s members, Dominic Lee Tsz-king and Carmen Kan Wai-mun who were selected by an elections in non-democracies, which was manipulated by CCP.

I understand that this invitation is a tradition. We used to have one pro-democracy and one pro-CCP parliamentarians representing the former colony. However, after the CCP enacted the National Security Law, all candidates of pro-democracy camp are either in prison or in exile. Therefore, the two members invited this year do not truly represent the people in Hong Kong. The Legislative Council’s announcement
also emphasised that they will come to “conquer” your event.

As a British Hongkonger who fled to the UK, I am utterly annoyed and hope CPA UK to retract the invitation.
