【2023 Nobel Peace Prize - Nominate Hong Kong Protesters】
Urge your network and eligible university professors* to nominate the Hong Kong protesters for the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize!
This year, China scholar and professor from the University of California Riverside, Perry Link, organized a nomination for Chow Hang-tung 鄒幸彤, Gwyneth Ho 何桂藍, Lai Chee-ying 黎智英, Lee Cheuk-yan, 李卓人, and Joshua Wong 黃之鋒 . The nomination letter was signed by 15 prominent academics from 10 different countries. The nomination letter is has not been made public yet.
To stand with our ally academics, submit Nobel Peace Prize nominations if you fit the eligibility requirements. It is more likely for the Norwegian Nobel Committee to consider the more nominations there are for that group/ individual. Reach out to your community and university professors to support the cause. Remind the international community of Hong Kongers’ fight for freedom and democracy.
*University professors in history, social sciences, philosophy, jurisprudence and theology, as well as university directors and directors of peace research institutes and institutes of international relations are eligible to file a nomination.
