聯合國消除對婦女歧視委員會將於5月12日對中國包括香港及澳門進行定期審議，審查中國落實《消除對婦女一切形式歧視公約》（CEDAW) 的進展。委員會除了接受政府報告外，亦接受非政府組織（NGOs) 所提供的資料。

我們發現, 有大量親中組織提交報告，但他們吹捧香港政府，屢屢強調國安法沒有影響港人自由，重覆中共口吻，企圖誤導委員會。我們節錄了部份蔚為奇觀的段落，讓大家一睹中共一貫為掌握輿論的低劣手段。

我們希望透過提交資料報告，對抗中共試圖粉飾太平的陰謀。雖然聯合國的審議未必有實際作用，但不平則鳴，我們不會接受中共大放厥詞，企圖改寫歷史的行俓。

The United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women will conduct a periodic review of China, including Hong Kong and Macao, on 12th May to assess China's progress in implementing the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). In addition to accepting government reports, the Committee also accepts information provided by non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

We have found that many pro-Beijing organisations have submitted information that praises the Hong Kong government, repeatedly emphasises that the national security law has not affected Hong Kong people's freedoms, and echoes the Chinese Communist Party's rhetoric in an attempt to mislead the Committee. We have excerpted some of the paragraphs to show the Chinese Communist Party's usual low-handed tactics to control public opinion.

Through the submission of information reports, we hope to counter the Chinese Communist Party's attempts to whitewash the truth. Although the United Nations review may not have a practical effect, we will not accept the Chinese Communist Party's claims and attempts to rewrite history.
