職夢創前路－華裔自閉症/智力障礙青少年就業訓練小組2023 Pre-Employment Program for Chinese Youth with an intellectual disability or on the autism spectrum
在加拿大尋找工作時，有自閉症譜系或智力障礙的年青人往往會遇到不少的獨有經驗或挑戰。對於華裔的自閉症或智力障礙的青少年和他們的家人來說，他們只有有限的途徑和資訊去得到多語種的專業和職業服務，很多年青人因著語言，經濟和身份上的限制而失去得到就業服務的機會。這個小組希望協助他們解決這些問題，同時為他們在踏入職場前學習更好的社交技巧及工作態度。
小組共舉行4節, 日期有待確認，將會另行通知。
This group (a total of 4 sessions) addresses the unique experiences and challenges faced by racialized youth with an intellectual disability or on the autism spectrum seeking employment in communities across Canada.
For East Asian youth with an intellectual disability/ASD and their families, they have limited access to culturally competent, multilingual professionals and vocational services. Many youths are deprived of employment service access based on their language, financial and immigrant status. This group aims for equipping them with occupational social skills and a proper working attitude.
The dates of group sessions will be confirmed and we will inform you later.
