Thanks HKAAB & HKDC for an insightful event at Cal
__
What an impressive turnout tonight! Heartfelt thanks to all participants for attending and all the constructive discussions. A special acknowledgment to Institute of International Studies for co-hosting this event and to Anna Kwok 郭鳳儀for her insightful tale of being an anonymous organizer and rising to become a leader at HKDC. Her storied exposition into diasporic organizing, strategic mobilization, and resource utilization for policy influence was truly enlightening. Participants’ truly unique and thought-provoking questions further inspired meaningful dialogue—a crucial element for progress in the movement!
We invite you to join us again at Stanford tomorrow evening, where Anna Kwok, Alex Chow and Kennedy Wong will delve into the intricacies of transnational repression and foreign influence orchestrated by the Chinese regime.
