UPDATE ON RECENT DECISION ERRORS BY IRCC:
For the past few months, CFSO has been communicating with IRCC ADM, Directors, and processing staff about the following decision errors made by IRCC:
1. Rejecting due to lack of LMIA (most common)
2. Rejecting SOWP due to TEER0123 jobs (common)
3. Rejecting OWP due to lack of 2-year education (least common)
4. Some other cases involved Inland OWP applications being confused as PGWP applications.
Results:
Although most cases were acknowledged by IRCC and decisions fixed, there are also a few error patterns that IRCC has identified among the problem cases presented. that IRCC wants CFSO to help appilcants understand The most common errors are the following:
1. No ECA (CFSO believes that ECA is needed for ALL education obtained outside of Canada, regardless of level, to avoid surprises.)
2. No completion of the Family Information form (IMM5707)
Please be cautious to cover all these bases first before submitting, to avoid delays and unpleasant surprises.
For those who are 100% sure that their applications were correct and that errors were made by IRCC, CFSO continues to welcome communication with @JMiuMiu who is willing to relay your case UCI and rejection errors to IRCC, if you so choose. Thanks a lot.
