簡介 Introduction:
A recent survey conducted by UK Welcome Hongkongers found that 81.1% of Hongkongers have registered as a voter, while only one fifth had taken part in social and political activities concerning British politics. With close to 150,000 BNOs arriving in the UK, could Hongkongers emerge as a new political force?
This discussion welcomes Marcus Storm, a representative from one of our exhibitors, ESEA for Labour, alongside Simon Cheng from Hongkongers in Britain, and Benedict Rogers from Hong Kong Watch . They will offer an overview of the British political scene, and explore the many ways Hongkongers could take part in British political life. Activities are held in English.
